Unifying six departments' Excel files into one automated KPI dashboard

A food and beverage production facility in Penang runs six departments — production, quality, warehouse, sales, procurement and maintenance — each of which kept its own independent Excel file for monthly reporting to management.

• •Each department head maintained a separate Excel workbook with its own layout, formulas and naming conventions, none of which were connected to each other.

3. 3.Automated the monthly consolidation that previously required manual copy-paste, so the report updates continuously instead of being rebuilt from scratch each month.
4. 4.Gave each department head edit access to only their own section, while management retains a read-only view of the full cross-department dashboard at any time.
